Mission: Impossible III, she’s got this fall’s ping-pong comedy Balls of Fury, from Reno 911! guys Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant, as well as a meaty role in Live Free or Die Hard, with Bruce Willis, Timothy Olyphant and flipping, exploding cars.

Most intriguing, though, seems to be The Tourist, picked up for distribution last month by 20th Century Fox. Maggie costars in the seamy-sounding drama, in which Ewan McGregor‘s nebbishy accountant is introduced to a sex club by his lawyer friend (Hugh Jackman), only to become a suspect in a woman’s disappearance and a multi-million dollar heist. Throw in Michelle Williams and Natasha Henstridge for good measure, and you have some interesting ingredients. Presumably Maggie does not play a buttoned-up corporate-type platonic friend of McGregor’s character… and you know what? That’s fine with me.
