SAG Awards Media Advisory Touts Grocery List

Just in case anyone was wondering, I’ve been sent a SAG Awards media advisory which informs me that “Jackson’s Catering purveyor order for the event” includes the following: 225 pounds of crab, five pounds of fresh dill, 20 gallons of vegetable stock, 400 Seckle pears, 20 pounds each of dried apricots, figs and black olives, three gallons of sweet corn, 40 gallons of pomegranate juice and six gallons of olive oil. Granted, I just pulled those items from a much longer list and left out all the alcohol (which includes Champagne Taittinger Brut La Française… ooh la la) to make it seem really weird. But it’s the people with this sort of inventory that I always seem to get stuck behind at the grocery store. The 15th annual awards ceremony
for the Screen Actors Guild jumps off on Sunday, January 25, at the Shrine Exposition Center, and will be simulcast live on TBS and TNT.
