After filming what I think was a couple years ago, and flirting with several release dates, there is proof, confirmed by my own eyeballs, that Fanboys does indeed exist, and even has the good sense to end with a pinched joke — “What if the movie sucks?” — slightly at the expense of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, the event film which powers its plot. Mainly, though, it has the good sense to include Kristen Bell in Princess Leia bikini garb, as shown below.



That might be the film’s enduring legacy — as a freeze-frame masturbatory aid for fans of Veronica Mars.
