If there was a part Benicio Del Toro seems born to play (hey, other than Fenster), it’s Latin American revolutionary Che Guevara, and the long-gestating biopic is finally getting off the ground, with Steven Soderbergh directing. And actually, it’s going to be two movies, largely in Spanish. It sounds pretty sweet, especially since rather than Stephen Gaghan, Peter Buchman (Jurassic Park III, the forthcoming Eragon) is thankfully assuming writer’s duties on both films.
