Kevin Smith’s sequel. Affection for the first film and its overly demonstrative and episodic charms is a fair prerequisite for Clerks II, a movie that eventually and a bit surprisingly arrives, somewhat (and I can’t stress that word enough) sweetly, at a place of plaintive nostalgia.
