Redcat Hosts Influential Underground Flick Flaming Creatures


For those in the SoCal area, as part of the Jack H. Skirball Series at Redcat, The Village Voice critic J. Hoberman will be hosting a special screening of Jack Smith's 45-minute 1963 film Flaming Creatures, which he asserts is the single most influential underground movie ever released in the United States, on Monday, November 9 at 8:30 p.m. at Redcat in downtown Los Angeles. Tickets range from $5 to $9.
