Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker

Based on a series of popular English kiddie spy novels by author Anthony Horowitz, Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker is unfailingly polite in its efforts to woo you, and doggedly energetic. It certainly seems to care about what audiences think, in other words. The problem is that it's skin deep, but ultimately not quite as fleet of foot as it needs to be to merit or counterbalance such cheekiness. The movie's efforts to be hip and of-the-moment result in a failed balancing act of tone and pitch. For the complete review, from IGN, click here.
